Review: Loney Dear @ St Giles In The Fields, Jan 28th.
Emil Svanagen, main man behind Loney Dear, said during his set last night that he’d never felt it was more true that ‘today is the start of the rest of my life’. Comments like this can’t help to endear the guy to your heart even before you’ve heard him sing a word. Thankfully his vocal chords are also on form this evening and his band are ably there to back up his acoustic guitar and provide some ear bendingly high harmonies. // more
