Harlem @ Beauty Bar Backyard. Harlem were everything I hoped Wavves would be when I saw them last month back in London. And then some. Intelligent punk tunes with great vocal hooks like ‘I hate every book I’ve ever read’.
For Fans Of: The Clash, Sex Pistols, Titus Andronicus.
An Austin 3 piece of drums, guitar and bass. Their guitarist and drummer swap instruments and share vocal duties. Also probably the only gay punk band I know at the moment. I was so impressed that I picked up their debut album ‘Free Drugs’ and I highly recommend you do the same when it’s out. Hell yeah!
