What? Passion Pit a.k.a Boston electronic whizz kid Michael Angelakos plus band. They’re undoubtedly one of the buzz groups of the year so far but luckily they’ve got some substance to back it up. Rob Da Bank loves them too, he’s already booked them for a gig at Heaven and for his Bestival on Isle Of Wight.
For Fans Of: The Avalanches, Friendly Fires, Empire Of The Sun.
Their debut EP Chunk Of Change impressed, particularly ‘I’ve Got Your Number’ and the massive ‘Sleepyhead’. Debut full length ‘Manners’, due out May 18th, looks set to follow in its footsteps and make Passion Pit one of the successes of the summer.
