What? Grizzly Bear are one of the most talked/blogged/written about and thus one would hope listened to bands in the World. The Brooklyn band have earned their indie crown with two albums already in the bag and their third, ‘Veckatimest’, will be scrapping it out for record of the year. Truly excellent live.

Since their 2006 breakthrough album ‘Yellow House’ they’ve had appearances on the David Letterman show and have made fans of everyone from The National to Radiohead who they have opened for. What is their sound? Hard to define but ranging from experimental slow, building walls of guitar and atmospheric chamber pop to blissed out Beatles-esque psychedelia, always with beautiful vocal harmonies. There are no fewer than three great voices to be heard amongst the band.
