What? St. Vincent a.k.a. Annie Clark of Brooklyn has been accumulating rave reviews all over the shop for her latest album ‘Actor’ which is up there with my records of the year so far. A sweet voice paired up with experimental guitar tunes ranging from pop to alt-folk to prog. Miss at your peril. For Fans Of: Feist, Dirty Projectors, Grizzly Bear.

Support comes from another songstress with a pseudonym, Yorkshire lass Blue Roses a.k.a. Laura Groves who is attracting fans and support slots like they are going out of fashion. She has a wonderful voice that will give Annie’s a real run for its money. For Fans Of: Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, Cocteau Twins.
