What? The Joy Formidable are husband and wife Ritzy & Rhydian and drummer Matt Thomas. Ritzy is an explosive front lady, handling vocals and guitar, while Rhydian takes bass/synth and backing vocals. The music is epic, melancholic electro-tinged rock. One of the best new UK bands around. For Fans Of: Interpol, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, School Of Seven Bells.
