Local Natives are from Silver Lake, L.A. and we’ve had a bit of a musical love affair with them since first hearing some of their SXSW 2009 sample mp3s that were floating about. They went on to be one of the big talking points of that festival which is no mean feat. Since then they’ve signed to the reborn Infectious Records (home to The Temper Trap also) and have a new single and album on the way. Good times!

Camera Talk is to be the first single due out on October 19th and it’s taken from their much anticipated debut album Gorilla Manor due out Nov 2nd. Fingers crossed it’s shaping up to be something special.

The harmonies sound even better live too. Their currently part of the NME Radar tour and play Koko on the London leg.
