Acoustic Consequences 2: Vadoinmessico, exlovers & The Boy Icarus, Nov 22nd.
What? Music Mule is proud to present Acoustic Consequences 2. This time around we have three of the best new bands to call London home. Starting with the awesome old meets new folk ramblings of The Boy Icarus through to the all killer no filler Kurran & The Wolfnotes and finishing off with some continental flare courtesy of the epic Vadoinmessico. We can hardly wait!

WIld Beasts Hoxton Hall Live Video
Wild Beasts are one of our artists of the year and seeing them at Swn festival in Cardiff this past weekend reminded us just what a colossally good live band they are. Those falsetto and baritone vocals, driving percussion and haunting guitar tones really hammer home live. Luckily for the armchair detectives out there the band have just made their August Hoxton Hall gig available to watch for free online.

Swn 2009 Day 3: Slow Club
Moshi Moshi’s darling duo Slow Club headlined the evening. Most people will probably be familiar with these two’s endearing if slightly twee folk pop from various releases over the past year. We first caught up with them in New York ahead of SXSW back in March and their confidence and stature has grown while the sound remains the same.

Swn 2009 Day 3: The Drums
The Drums were the main draw for us at the Moshi Moshi evening. The Brooklyn duo are now a full band of four it would seem and tonight they even throw in a couple of air hostess dressed backing singers to the equation. Front man Jonathan Pierce stomped out his dance moves and tambourine/guitar player Jacob Graham spent as much time in the air as he did on the ground.
