What with Vadoinmessico playing our next Acoustic Consequences night later this month, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see them live again and increase our already stratospheric levels of excitement. Tonight the band were opening one of the strongest lineups we’ve been privileged to see in a while, courtesy of our friends at Electroacoustic Club.
Frontman Giorgio lead the five piece through tracks form their recently released self-titled EP which is well worth grabbing right now damn it! ‘Sisma’ introduced us to Giorgio’s pretty new guitar and ‘Teeo’ tugged on the heartstrings. ‘In Spain’ and ‘Cave’ proved the most mouth watering of finales in which chief banjo player and backing vocalist Stefan B coaxes the crowd into a bit of good time clapping and generally brings a smile to our faces.
By the time ‘Cave’ finishes the job is very much done. Another room of fans including both Left With Pictures and The Miserable Rich who heap on the compliments during their ensuing sets.
Roll on Nov 22nd!
