Acoustic Consequences 2
Posted by: nick
Thanks to all who came down to our second Acoustic Consequences show at The Fellow last night, including our three excellent bands Vadoinmessico, Kurran and The Wolfnotes and The Boy Icarus. The highly anticipated first appearance of a drum at Acoustic Consequences was also joined by the first appearance of a melodica, a banjo, a harmonium, a bongo, a bass, an electric guitar and another drum! Not strictly acoustic but all the better for it.
The Boy Icarus treated us to his Bright Eyes infused folk tales.

After exlovers sadly cancelled due to illness, their recent tour buddies Kurran and The Wolfnotes kindly stepped into their slot. The five-piece played a great set ahead of the release of their debut single ‘Whatabitch’ the following day. (iTunes / 7″)

Vadoinmessico capped off a fine evening with songs from their debut EP (bandcamp / iTunes) and a few extras. Songs in English, Spanish and Italian, some nifty guitar work, a banjo, melodica and crisps on their drum kits. What more could you want?

All of the acts were great, Kurran and the Wolfnotes especially were the bees knees.
