• Hook & The Twin @ 93 Feet East, Dec 12th.

What? Hook & The Twin feature on an otherwise Kitsune Maison (but that’s no bad thing!) heavy bill for this The Playground night at 93 Feet East. One of out favourite new wonky electronic duos Hook & The Twin promise to be a highlight but there’s treats aplenty on this lineup.

On Repeat: Small Black – Small Black

Small Black are New York, or Long Island to be more precise, duo Josh Kolenik and Ryan Heyner and we’ve completely fallen in love with their slightly shambolic, off kilter electro tinged guitar tunes from their self titled 12″ EP. None more so than the record’s glorious lead track ‘Despicable Dogs’ which found them in Pitchfork’s coveted ‘Best New Music’ section this summer. The EP thankfully shows they’re no one song wonders.
