Dirty Projectors continue their prolific form of 2009 with a new single comprising of a couple of tracks from their Bitte Orca recording sessions that until now hadn’t seen the light of day. ‘Ascending Melody’ is the leading track and it’s really quite something. Warm bouncing bass lines, trademark Longstreth guitar licks, vocal gymnastics, more fantastic R’n'B harmonies from the ladies and an ascending melody of course.
You can buy the single as a limited edition 7″ backed with ‘Emblem Of The World’, available exclusively through the band’s label Domino Records UK / US. Or alternatively you can provide the band with your email and grab the two tracks for nothing.
