The Middle East hail from Townsville in Queensland, Australia. They originally self released their debut EP The Recordings Of The Middle East in 2008 and then Oz label Spunk records re-released the sucker mid 2009. The primary adjective that applies to their music is beautiful but harmonious, subtle and intricate also fit the picture. About to support Mumford & Sons in the U.S. following SXSW.
