We Adore Savoir Adore
We first introduced you to Savoir Adore in our SXSW 2010 preview but thought it was high time they got a post of their own. We are bubbling with excitement over this Brooklyn Duo. Think: boy-girl harmonies, shiny synths, tribal percussion and indie pop hooks a plenty. Their debut UK single ‘Bodies’ was out on Monday. Adoration is under way.

Best Coast – Our Deal
Bethany Cosentino or Best Coast to most has been an obsession of ours around here since discovering that her Spectorish Surf Rock actually parts the clouds – go on try it! Imagine then our dee-light at the appearance of a new track courtesy of Xbox of all people. ‘Our Deal’ will feature on Best Coast’s apparently forthcoming album (no date yet).

Bear In Heaven played their second London show in eight days at The Bird On The Wire show at Brixton’s Windmill last night. Would the low roofed Windmill (confusingly not a real Windmill) blow its top under the sheer force of the Brooklyn 3-piece’s psychedelic onslaught? We were about to find out. // more
