We Adore Savoir Adore

We first introduced you to Savoir Adore in our SXSW 2010 preview but thought it was high time they got a post of their own. We are bubbling with excitement over this Brooklyn Duo. Think: boy-girl harmonies, shiny synths, tribal percussion and indie pop hooks a plenty. Their debut UK single ‘Bodies’ was out on Monday. Adoration is under way.

Savoir Adore’s principal members are multi instrumentalists Paul Hammer and Deidre Muro who first started working together in 2007 when they dared each other to make a concept album in one weekend. The result turned out as The Adventures of Mr. Pumpernickel and the Girl with Animals in her Throat EP.
Moving onwards and upwards the band follow up the release of current single Bodies with their debut album ‘In The Wooded Forest’ due out through Cantora Records on July 5th but if you’re clever you can actually get in right now from Amazon.
