What? White Denim, the ridiculously good bluesy garage rock 3-piece from Austin play a FREE gig in Camden this Friday. This is a rare chance to see one of the best live bands on the planet for nothing. It will be busy so for the love of Denim get there early if you want to get in. We can not stress enough how good these guys are.

What? The xx are the band on everyone’s lips at the moment. Their debut self titled album has been winning near flawless reviews from bloggers, music magazines and broadsheets alike. The Putney band are based around the understated yet dulcet tones of high school best friends Romy and Oliver and their love of minimal 80s guitar and smooth, r’n'b influenced beats. Don’t be fooled by the r’n'b though as it’s all indie underneath it all.
