Paul Thomas Saunders & Monument Valley @ St Pancras Church, April 16th.
What? Some of you may remember many moons ago that we put on a Music Mule ‘Acoustic Consequences’ gig for the awesome Paul Thomas Saunders and you could find the fellow hand wax sealing his first EP at the back of the smokey non-smoking room! Well he’s now on tour to support EP number 3 (at our count), Descartes Highlands, which is quite rightly picking up fans in hoardes. Support comes form the equally astounding Monument Valley who will wow you with his Buckley plucked electro guitar and mostly his superb, dark lyrical journeys through lost photographs and personal tragedy. This venue was made for these two. // more
