Magic Kids / Allo Darlin’ @ Barfly Camden, Oct 1st.
What? Memphis’ Magic Kids have a bit of a live reputation back in the states. First bigged up to us by Christopher Owen of Girls, we’re eager to see them at this Camden Barfly show, the first of two initial London dates (they’re back at the end of the month) supporting their marvellous debut album, the fittingly titled ‘Memphis’. Support comes from Fortuna Pop! signed Allo Darlin’ who have been making increasing ripples with their joy inspiring folk pop ditties.

Crocodiles @ Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, Oct 5th.
What? Yesterday marked the official release of Crocodiles‘ second, James Ford produced (Simian Mobile Disco), album ‘Sleep Forever’. The LA duo have been picking up rave reviews and even Radio 1 are loving their latest single ‘Hearts Of Love’ (the video to which you can take a gander at below) so expect this show at the modest Hoxton Bar & Kitchen to sell out very soon.

What? Tonight sees Luke Temple and his Brooklyn band Here We Go Magic bring their second, critically acclaimed album ‘Pigeons’ to East London for our the gig of the week.
