Beach House @ Shepherds Bush Empire, Nov 23rd.
What? Baltimore’s finest export aside from The Wire, Beach House, play their biggest London headline show to date at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire this November. They’ve spent years slowly building a fan base (remember that?) and supporting the likes of Grizzly Bear, Fleet Foxes and far less impressive bands. Times change though and Beach House’s third album (first for Bella Union in the UK) ‘Teen Dream’ has rightly propelled them into the limelight.

Beach House @ Heaven, June 1st.
Beach House are Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand from Baltimore, Maryland, USA. The same place as the Chocolate Chip cookies are from? Possibly. Biscuits aside they’re a real band’s band with Robin Pecknold (Fleet Foxes) a big fan and Grizzly Bear hand picking them for their upcoming sold out stint at The Roundhouse. Victoria also features on G.B.’s ‘Veckatimest’ album.
