Review: Sharon Van Etten @ Cargo, London March 1st 2012.
Sharon Van Etten was in town last night to perform before a capacity audience at Cargo in Shoreditch, with tickets long since snapped up by many an earnest 6 Music listener at a guess. Needless to say we were quite excited then and with good reason, after pummelling the hell out of the Brooklnite’s latest album, the spellbinding, Jagjaguwar released (home to the Grammy award winning Bon Iver), ‘Tramp’ in recent months. This tour was to be the first putting those intricately crafted gems into a live show. // more

Preview: Toro Y Moi @ Cargo, Oct 19th.
What? Those fine folk over at Rockfeedback have booked Toro Y Moi again following the resounding success of his first sold out London headline at CAMP Basement in July. Without a shadow of a doubt one of the most exciting and talented artists to emerge either side of the Atlantic in the past couple of years. Don’t miss his last UK headline of the year.

Avi Buffalo @ Cargo, Aug 24th.
What? Following a sold out London debut at Old Blue Last back in May, Avi Buffalo and his Californian crew are back to play the bigger & better Cargo on August 24th. The show is preceeded by the release of the band’s next single ‘Truth Sets In’ (Aug 16th), another gloriously warm wonky pop gem from their phenomenal Sub Pop debut album ‘Avi Buffalo’. We love these guys.
