    Last night’s show at the White Heat club night in Soho marked Darwin Deez‘s debut UK show. We’d previously heard a few mixed reports about the Deez live package and a friend said he’d rather see Phenomenal Hand Clap Band, also  playing London last night, than “that Napoleon Dynamite wannabe”. His jest was friendly but we have a feeling the last laugh was ultimately ours. Mwa ha ha! // more

    What? White Heat present what could be one of the gigs of the year featuring Music Mule favourites from 2009, London’s own Wolf Gang who we already know is magnificent but perhaps most excitingly Brooklyn’s hipster indie pop dance machine Darwin Deez who made one of our top five records of last year but is a bit of an unknown (at least to these shores) and perhaps volatile quantity live.
