Lovebox @ Victoria Park, July 18th-19th
What? Lovebox Festival. Groove Armada curate the Lovebox Weekender in my backyard, Victoria Park. It was apparently voted best medium sized UK festival last year. There are weekend or day tickets available. I think I’m going to go just for the Saturday on the strength of the line up confirmed so far. Ladyhawke on Sunday could be fun too though. // more

Friendly Fires @ The Forum, April 30th.
What? Friendly Fires, the St. Albans 3-piece, announce a London headline date in April. It comes on the back of the success of last year’s excellent disco guitar drenched debut album ‘Friendly Fires’ and a subsequent sold out NME Awards tour for which Glasvegas headlined but the band were billed above White Lies and recent sensation Florence and The Machine. Tickets will sell quickly so set a reminder. // more
