Highlife – Best Bless EP
Highlife is a band featuring Doug Shaw (White Magic) and various members of Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti and Gang Gang Dance. Quite a combination we know! What’s more we’re not 100% but we think they may be based in London now which would be a bonus for us of course. Anyway enjoy ‘F Kenya Rip’, featuring backing vocals from Mira Billotte (White Magic), taken from the band’s forthcoming debut EP ‘Best Bless’ out through The Social Registry, Sept 28th.

Gang Gang Dance seem to be attracted to infernos. In February all of their equipment burned to the ground along with the Amsterdam venue they had played the previous evening. Tonight in a packed Dingwalls the temperature must be somewhere close to that blaze. // more
