Here We Go Magic @ Hoxton B&K, Sep 7th.
What? Tonight sees Luke Temple and his Brooklyn band Here We Go Magic bring their second, critically acclaimed album ‘Pigeons’ to East London for our the gig of the week. Review: Harlem @ Hoxton B&K, Aug 23rd.
The world needs more bands like Harlem. On Monday the Austin garage-punk 3-piece proved yet again that America is leading the way when it comes to exciting new bands, especially it would seem when it comes to playing live which the yanks seem to relish far more than us spotlight shy Brits. Monday night shows are always tame though right? Not exactly. // more

Harlem @ Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, Aug 23rd.
What? If you haven’t noticed we’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Texan 3-piece Harlem around these ways. Their bouncy second album ‘Hippies’ has been a mainstay on our stereo this summer and they completely kicked butt at The Lexington last month. Rejoice then in news that they’re back for another London date in Hoxton in a few weeks time.

Review: Erland & The Carnival @ Hoxton Square B&K, May 6th.
Thursday finally saw the arrival of Erland & The Carnival‘s sold out Hoxton headline show which we’d been anticipating for a long while. With their debut album proving one of our sleeper hits of the year so far, we were enthused to hear their potentially huge sounding folk Carnivalizations in the flesh.
