What? M83 the french electro whizz Anthony Gonzalez comes to London this summer. His last album under the M83 moniker ‘Saturdays = Youth’ was a glorious piece of 80s tinged electronic shoegaze which won Drowned In Sound’s much coveted album of 2008 and earned him support slots on huge dates with Kings Of Leon.

Grizzly Bear @ Koko, Aug 18th.
What? Grizzly Bear are one of the most talked/blogged/written about and thus one would hope listened to bands in the World. The Brooklyn band have earned their indie crown with two albums already in the bag and their third, ‘Veckatimest’, will be scrapping it out for record of the year. Truly excellent live.
