    Clock Opera @ SXSW 2011, March 18th.

Clock Opera @ Valhalla (Moshi Moshi / Wichita party), SXSW 2011 March 18th. Yes we’re unashamedly turning into Clock Opera groupies, taking in our third show of the festival at the Moshi Moshi / Wichita showcase at Valhalla yesterday. The bands were Moshi Moshi heavy as a lot of the Wichita crew unfortunately didn’t get visas.

Summer Camp @ The Lexington, April 8th.

What? It’s recently been revealed that mystery band Summer Camp are in fact Music Mule hero Jeremy Warmsley and Elizabeth Sankey. We’ve actually been sitting on that secret for a while so it’s good to share at last! The duo are set to leave their secret underground lair for their debut live show at The Lexington next month. The show also celebrates the release of single of the year contender ‘Ghost Train’ through Moshi Moshi’s singles club a few days later.

Signals – Angst In My Pants (Sparks Cover)

Signals are the new group from former The Mae-Shi members Jon Gray, Bill Gray, and Jacob Cooper and they’re 3 beautiful boys if you’ll believe their press release! While we’re not sure of that, we are sure that they seem to have carried the insane energy of The Mae-Shi into their new project and that’s something worth taking time to investigate.

AJ Holmes & The Hackney Empire, Samuel & The Dragon @ Hoxton Bar & Kitchen, Nov 25th.

What? Moshi Moshi present their latest night with live performances from the pleasingly named (for this Hackney resident) AJ Holmes & The Hackney Empire, new signings Samuel & The Dragon and Safe House. AJ Holmes & The Hackney Empire thankfully live up to their name with Afro-Beat infused, eccentric pop.
