On Repeat: The Big Pink – Dominos
The Big Pink are Londoners Robbie and Milo and they’ve just cut their debut album ‘A Brief History Of Love’ (stream it below) for the legendary 4AD label which is home to greats like TV On The Radio, Bon Iver, The National and of course the Pixies. The single ‘Dominos’ is out on Sept 7th a week before the album and it’s another gorgeous slice of shoegaze pop.

What? The Big Pink are Londoners Milo, Robbie and band. They play gorgeous shoegaze indie with an undeniably pop undertone. A lot of distortion, a lot of electronic beats with great tunes and Madchester style euphoric vocals. One of the top live bands of the year so far.

The Big Pink @ ICA, April 23rd.
What? The Big Pink. At last year’s Swn festival in Cardiff The Big Pink were one of my highlights. They are Londoners Milo and Robbie and they make trippy shoegaze electronic jams with layers of distorted guitar, drum machines and blokey vocal harmonies.
