Jason Friedman and Eleanore Everdell or The Hundred In The Hands release their self titled debut album today through Warp Records. A band that first caught our eye back in 2008 with their ‘Dressed/Undressed In Dresden’ single have delivered on early promise to release an album that will appeal equally to those partial to sultry disco and a shimmering post-punk riff or two. Londoners catch them supporting !!! at Koko on Nov 4th.

The Hundred In The Hands is composed of The Boggs’ Jason Friedman and touring band-mate Eleanore Everdell, they make the kind of hypnotic, tribal disco that you can dance long through the night to. Or as the band themselves put it “These are sound-system-backed, foot stomping, clap hands beats for akimbo-limbed boogie kids. Ballrooms and bar floors are built strong, it’s time to give them a pounding.”
