Gary War @ The Lexington, Jan 12th.
Cambridge MA born and Brooklyn dwelling Gary War plays The Lexington tonight. Gary has been making his melodious, effects drenched American psych since the late nineties. Around 2004 he moved to LA and collaborated with Kurt Vile (The War On Drugs), then in 2008 Gary moved East again to continue with Gary War and also play in a side project called Roman Soldiers, a collaboration with Mike Sniper of Blank Dogs. A busy bee he is.

Archie Bronson Outfit @ The Lexington, Jan 27th.
Woo hoo! We thought they had permanently disappeared into the woodwork but one of our favourite bands of a few years back, the West Country trio, Archie Bronson Outfit are back and playing a live date in London this January. No word as of yet as to whether this means a new album in the works but we will be there to once again marvel at their bluesy folk tinged rock.
