Acoustic Consequences 2
Thanks to all who came down to our second Acoustic Consequences show at The Fellow last night, including our three excellent bands Vadoinmessico, Kurran and The Wolfnotes and The Boy Icarus. The highly anticipated first appearance of a drum at Acoustic Consequences was also joined by the first appearance of a melodica, a banjo, a harmonium, a bongo, a bass, an electric guitar and another drum! Not strictly acoustic but all the better for it. // more

On Repeat: Vadoinmessico – Shining Up The Green
Vadoinmessico have kindly given us permission to share with you a track of our choice from their stunning debut EP. ‘Cave’ is the obvious choice but that’s already done the rounds a little and we don’t like obvious choices anyway so you get the wonderful ‘Shining Up The Green’. Fall in love with it then come see them live next week.

The Miserable Rich, Left With Pictures and Vadoinmessico @ The Slaughtered Lamb, Nov 3rd.
What? The Miserable Rich, Left With Pictures, Vadoinmessico. A truly fantastical folk-centric lineup for this Electroacoustic Club night featuring three new stars of the indie-folk world. The Miserable Rich headline the evening. Check out their recent cover of Hot Chip’s “Over and Over” below. Their vocalist James Malplaquet is particularly impressive live.
