On Repeat: Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Dull Life
Damn it’s exciting, the new Yeah Yeah Yeahs album ‘It’s Blitz!’ is out on April 13th and we get it a day before the US for some reason. Having said that the record has already leaked to the Internet and people have been saying that it’s a bit dancier than older stuff, which some of it is but it’s lost none of the custom YYY’s intensity for it. // more

Rescheduled: Deerhunter @ Scala, May 18th.
What? Deerhunter are over from Atlanta, Georgia to support their album Microcastle which was near the top of a lot of people’s best of 2008 lists. Their sound has been described as ‘ambient punk’ whatever the hell that is we like it. Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs has apparently described their live performance as ‘a religious experience’. // more
